Get to Know Dr. Bao-Tran Le

Dr. Bao-Tran Le says that there is no better feeling in the world than seeing a happy patient after she has treated them. Watching someone walk out with a healthy, attractive smile and renewed comfort and confidence always lights up her day. She is excited to welcome you into our practice and make sure your dental experiences are always positive and productive.

Why Did She Decide to Become a Dentist?

As a young child, Dr. Le always admired her dentist because of her kindness and fashion sense. She aspired to become just like her, and Dr. Le ended up shadowing in the office and serving as her dental assistant. While there, dentistry began to fascinate her even more because of how much it can influence a person’s health and appearance, so she was more than happy to pursue it as a career.

Where Did She Study Dentistry?

Dr. Le earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before going on to graduate from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. In addition to working as a dental assistant throughout college, she also volunteered at the Charlottesville Free Dental Clinic. After receiving her dental degree, she was eager to move back to Virginia to begin practicing.

Always ready to learn more and improve her clinical skills, Dr. Le is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Does She Like to Do?

In her free time, Dr. Le primarily likes to read, and her favorite book at the moment is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. When she isn’t in the middle of a good book, you’ll often find her binging psychological thrillers on Netflix or trying out new restaurants.
